If a person were interested in starting a boat company to work in the oilfield, what are the necessary steps?

Question: I am interested in going into the boat buisiness. What I am basically looking to do is have a service that will provide service to inland rigs, such as personnel transfer and things of the sort. This would not include rigs that are working offshore, however that may be possible in the future. What I am pondering is how do I make contacts, what information will I need for a bank to make a loan, where do I buy a boat, and general questions of that sort. Any answers or comments would be greatly appreciated. I am interested in starting a boat company that would service inland oilfield rigs, such as in swamps and things of that nature. What I am curious about is how do I start, make contacts with oilfield companies, where to get a boat from, and what kind of information do I need to take to a bank. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Just walk into any old bank and tell them you need a loan for a boat that you will be using on dry land . . . should have the money in a day or two . . .
