Is there a product for lever-action rifles that is similar to an arrow quiver you can wear on your back?

Question: I am looking to see if anyone knows if there is a product that you can wear on your back for hiking in the back country that will hold your lever action rifle and provide easy access? The best analogies I can come up with would be a "scabbard you can wear on your back, or a back-mounted arrow quiver". Leather or any other material.

Answer: I know exactly what you mean and have an idea why you want it. It is basically a saddle scabbard mounted on your back so you can grasp the stock and draw the carbine over your right shoulder, with your right hand and bring it down to firing position rapidly. Right? I too want one for my Rossi M-92 SRC! It would leave both hands free for hiking, climbing, or fishing. It would protect the gun from scratches and dings, and if waterproof, would keep it dry when waist-deep in a salmon stream. And keep the rifle handy if a bear wants my catch. Unfortunately, I do not know of anyone who makes such a back scabbard. I guess I will eventually have to make one myself. Doc
