Has anyone tried firing a weapon while listening to music. I'm thinking of trying it to use it for my science

Answer: Not when I'm at the range, for obvious safety reasons, but if I'm out on some private property I usually have something playing either in headphones or on a cd player. I really don't want to brag but I'm a pretty good shot, and music or other distractions do not have a very significant affect on my marksmanship, but I imagine it would on an amateur shooter. For me at least, listening to some music (usually S.O.A.D.) relaxes me, and lets me sort of zone out and concentrate more on my target. It's an interesting idea for a project, but if this is a school thing I would get permission from the administration first. You never know with political correctness these days, I was just suspended from school about a month ago for wearing my rifle team jacket, because it had a firearm on it. If you do this project just make sure you do it safely.
