Question: what rifle do you hunt it with?
Answer: I hunt squirrel more than anything less, but then season lasts 5 months were as deer season is less than a month for gun season. I use many different firearms to hunt squirrels, they include t/c contender 17 mach 2 w/ 14" pistol barrel , a 10" barreled 22 long rifle contender, a Ruger Mk2 22 long rifle with a 6 7/8 barrel. When I take a rifle with me it would be a Ruger 10/22 also 22 long rifle which I have modified with heavy barrel and ambi thumb hole stock w/ Burris scope. But my favorite Rifle to hunt with is a Ruger 7722 hornet with my custom loaded ammo. With that I hunt them at 100 yards plus, That's a challenge, partly because the load I use is a heavy bullet traveling at 1900 fps, at that range and with that load they can some times move out of the way from the time you fire till the bullet gets there. So you have to study there movements in order to connect with their head. When I hunt deer I use a 44 t/c contender or 454 t/c encore, both again are handguns with a 10" barrel and 12" barrel respectfully or a Ruger 45 colt bisley w/ 7 1/2" barrel or 44 mag desert eagle w/ 10" barrel. But when I carry a rifle its a 50 cal muzzle loader or a Remington 700 .308 heavy barrel.
